A request will be made for additional gym time. Need at least 9 hours per week for 9 teams. The question was raised as to what the club will pay for practice time for the teams. The club will pay for 1 hour per team per week.

Coach and Referee: The question was raised by Michelle Minnis about the club paying for coaching clinics. Due to the absence of Evan Kurtz, the issue will be held over until next meeting.

Jr. Rec. League: Sign ups for rec. leagues are generally the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Discussed having registered kids from the soccer club officiate the Jr. Rec. League. Tara Jenne discussed the shirt issue and the cost and decided not to order shirts for the league.

Adult League: Starts on 10/29, there’s one group and they play on Friday and Sunday.

Broom County Liaison: The Spring teams will have a two week period after the coaches meeting to make any changes to their schedule. After that point a coach may change up to three games in their schedule as long as these changes are made at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled game date. This information will be in the spring handbook for coaches. If a coach would like to see a rule change to the rules used for spring soccer last year they should state the old rule, what they would like the new rule to be and the reasons why, and then they should send it on to Bill Turner for signature.

E course is off due to the response of only 10 people. They will try it again for November or December.

On October 30th. there will be a session for 3 finalists for state job. Afternoon tour of new proposed site. Any interested reps for the day send name address and phone number. Vote yes at AGM meeting for new office. AGM is Nov. 13th. and 14th. *Can send proxy in place of president.

The question was raised by Tim Wiese about the club providing startup equipment for new teams. The decision was made to provide a medical kit stocked with appropriate items. Cyndie Allmendinger is going to handle the startup of this and will be the contact for restocking. The club is also going to provide cones to any new team needing them. Cyndie Allmendinger is also going to be in charge of purchasing 500 of these cones and she will look into getting 50 bicycle flags (4 per team) for the spring leagues. The storage of the equipment will take place at Peggy Westerling’s barn. It was decided that each player should be responsible for a soccer ball, shin guards, water bottle.

The discussion of scholarships was raised by Michelle Minnis. Mike Allmendinger made a motion for the year 2000 registration forms to contain a check box to donate $1.00 to a scholarship program. The decision on who would qualify for a scholarship will be made on a case by case basis, all were in favor.

The question "Should a coaches child play for free?" came up. Michelle Minnis made a motion to have every child on a team pay the same amount whether the parent is a coach or not, all were in favor.

Congratulations were given to Peggy Westerling from Mike Allmendinger for all her hard work as registrar.

Mike Allmendinger has 10 XL and 1 or 2 L size purple uniform shirts available for sale, the cost is $18.00.
