Attendees: Jeri-Ann Bush, Bill Turner, Ken Paddock, Doug Hoyt, Janet Weise, Peggy Westerling, Cindy LaLonde
Financial Report: Ending balance was $2947.86. The lower balance reflects next year’s line paint which has already been purchased.
Welcome back Peggy! Some discussion of having the registrar position as a paid position. The consensus was that delegation of the duties and responsibilities of the registrar would be more appropriate.
Lansing now has their own soccer club and will not be registering through the DSC.
Bill discussed the meeting he attended in Ithaca. Again it was discussed about separating the soccer club into two divisions. It has been suggested that Tompkins County have one youth soccer registrar. No definitive plans have been made as yet. DSC also looking into the possibility of separation of the club with the hopes of Dryden Youth Sports to provide the umbrella of insurance for the rec. leagues.
Bill Turner will be presenting the amendments to the bylaws at the next meeting.
Positions still needing to be filled: President, Vice President, and Junior Rec. League Coordinator. Bill Turner will continue as President with the hopes that someone will accept the Vice President position and become familiar with the duties of the president.
Ken Paddock will check with Phil to see if he would be interested in lining the fields again.
The equipment shed for storage will be at the Covenant Love field.
Adult Rec. League: Summer season is over and it is time for the coed fall season to begin. If interested, you may contact Bill Turner at the Web site.
The Sept. coaches course has been cancelled due to lack of participants.
Next meeting: Monday, September 10, 7-9 PM, TC3 Boardroom
