NO ADULT SOCCER FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2008
When schools are closed, soccer is cancelled.Dryden Soccer Club adult outdoor play runs from April through September of each year.
Play is every Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm and every Sunday from noon-2:00pm at the Dryden High School JV soccer field (behind the high school, the baseball backstop is labelled "5"). This is an informal coed game, and all players age 16-up are welcome. If you have never played but want to try it, or are considering returning to soccer after several years not playing, this is a great opportunity!We also have a team in the Ithaca outdoor coed league.
Dryden Soccer Club adult indoor play runs from November through April each year.
Adult soccer is on the normal schedule December 21, 23, 28, and 30, 2007 - Fridays at 7 PM at the DES, Sundays at noon at he HS.
We play on Sundays at noon at the Dryden High School large gym and Fridays at 7 PM at the Dryden Elementary School.
This program is co-sponsored by the Town of Dryden Recreation Department. The minimum age for this program is 16.
For indoor soccer we maintain a roster of 25-28 players who are "regulars" - commit to playing 3 weeks out of 4 - and who pay a $5 roster fee. We welcome non-roster players on a space-available basis. There is a $2 per play fee for all players, roster or non-roster. (And yes, we can accept "Friday only" or "Sunday only" roster players.)
At each session, we can accommodate 21 players. We play 6 on a side (keeper + 5 out), and at maximum will rotate 3 teams with each team having a sub. If more than 21 players show up for a session, roster players have priority. Be on time! If you show up after play has begun, we will not stop to adjust teams to accomodate you!
We maintain a separate mailing list for the Adult group,
drydenadultsoccer@yahoogroups.com. Announcements of schedule changes are always posted to that list. You can subscribe through the Web at the link below, or by sending your Email address to Bill Turner.
